Content Update and Patch Notes for July 23, 2026
The addition of the new Thebes map, an expansion to the Blood Hunt mode's capabilities, and new features in the Esports tab.
Key changes
- New Map: Thebes — An Arena Among Egyptian Ruins and Celestial Technology
- Blood Hunt Mode Update: Gear Enhancement, Stat Reroll, and New Item Dew of Insight
- New Features in Esports: Team/Player Subscriptions and an Expanded Match Calendar
- A toggle for Team-Up ability visual effects has been added to the settings
- Twitch Drops: Exclusive Daredevil "IGNITE" costume available by watching the Mid-Season Finals
On July 23, 2026, at 09:00 (UTC), the Marvel Rivals update will be released. The server will not be shut down — simply download the patch and continue playing!
New Content
New Map: Thebes
Two monuments of power, divided by a sea of sand and stolen loyalty. The Pyramid of Apocalypse and the Temple of Hongshu dominate opposite ends of the map. In this arena, where ancient Egyptian ruins clash with primordial Celestial technology amidst dunes and oases, true evil will be drawn into the moonlight.
Esports
We have added a new subscription feature to the Esports tab! Now you can subscribe to your favorite tournaments, teams, and professional players. Use the new "Calendar" view to instantly track match schedules, league standings, active brackets, and head-to-head history. Also, enable notifications to receive an alert the moment a match begins!
Blood Hunt
The vampire threat continues! We have updated your arsenal to help you survive the night:
- Gear Enhancement: You can now enhance existing gear to unlock even higher stat bonuses.
- Gear Refining: Rerolling specific stats on your gear is now available for perfect synergy with your hero build.
- New Drop — Dew of Insight: Enemies will now drop this rare item during combat. Use it to instantly gain an EX charge for any chosen hero.
- Nightmare Difficulty Expansion: The Nightmare difficulty cap has been increased to floor 300. Special reward: by clearing floor 260 with any hero, you will receive 100 units (once per hero).
Blood Hunt Event Duration:
- Double XP event extended until: October 5, 2026, 09:00 (UTC)
- Blood Hunt mode extended until: October 9, 2026, 09:00 (UTC)
New in the Shop
Available from July 24, 2026, 02:00 (UTC):
- Psylocke — Bundle «Pinned Butterfly» (includes a free option to remove the chin ornament)
- Hela — Bundle «Consort of Khonshu»
- Hela — Chromas «Midnight Moon»/«Sapphire Shadow» and new ultimate visual effects
Twitch Drops
As part of the Mid-Season Finals, you can earn exclusive rewards by watching streams! This time on the list: Daredevil «IGNITE» (2026) outfit and its related set, as well as unique emotes, emojis, and commemorative nameplates.

Heroes and Abilities

Spectator Mode: Fixed an issue where after the defeat of a player spectating certain heroes, UI anomalies occurred upon the player's respawn.
The Punisher
Fixed the ammo counter behaviour while firing the turret.
- Fixed a bug where the ammo counter in the bottom left corner displayed incorrectly while firing the Culling Turret.

Team-Up VFX Toggle: A new parameter has been added to the settings! You can now enable or disable the visual effects of Team-Up abilities on your screen. This setting can be applied to all heroes at once or configured individually for each hero in their personal settings. (This change only affects your screen; enemies and allies will still see the effects).

Weapon Model Fixes: Fixed an error where Angela, Daredevil, and Gambit displayed incorrect weapon models on certain costumes.
