Volume 16 — Season 7.5: The Beginning

“Guangguang and Zhiyong return with Season 7.5. A new protection system against infinite crowd control, Bucky Barnes trades control for pure firepower, and Ultron expands his destruction radius.”

The mid-season update for the seventh season brings the most significant mechanical change of the entire season — Chain-CC Protection, a system designed to protect heroes from infinite chain crowd control.

Highlights

• 🛡️ Chain-CC Protection. If a hero is under CC effects for a total of 5.5 sec. or receives 6 CC within 7 sec. — the system removes all effects and grants 30% Tenacity for 3 sec. At 100% Tenacity, the hero gains full immunity. Animation-based CC (Emma, Monster Hulk) are exceptions.
• 🔫 Winter Soldier rework. Control has been removed from Trooper's Fist (no Grounded), but Roterstern hits significantly harder. Bionic Hook has become less frequent.
• 🤖 Ultron buff. Rage of Ultron — drone radius 3 m → 6 m, beam and drone damage increased, ally healing 25 → 40.
• 🕸️ Peni Parker — fine-tuning. Base HP 700 → 650, but more webbing (3 → 4), Cyber-Web Cluster projectile speed 120 → 150 m/s.

Seasonal Balance Focus

• Emma Frost — Psionic Seduction is cheaper (3400 → 3100).
• Deadpool (Vanguard) — ultimate damage and attack speed have been reduced.
• Elsa Bloodstone — mobility nerfed, anti-tank effectiveness reduced.
